One of the two long fishing piers in Fort De Soto Park, the Bay Pier juts
directly into the currents that flow to and from Tampa Bay. It is 500 feet long.
West of the Bay Pier, and around the 'elbow' of Mullet Key, as you
approach the fort pier, the shoreline is heavily reinforced.
The Gulf Pier extends 1000 feet into the channel between Mullet Key and Egmont Key. The Gulf Pier is located right beside the fort parking lot.
Using these excellent fishing piers is free!
