Liked it so much he stayed!

This is a Heermann gull. The Heermann gull is commonly found on the California shoreline(!), and up the west coast of the USA, but has never been seen east of Texas! All except for this lone Heermann gull who arrived many months ago, and loved the Fort De Soto beaches so much he stayed.
He was first discovered on October 14, 2000 by Glen Wilson, a Fort De Soto Park marine deputy.
